Review the complete TPO assembly
TPO is a single-ply roofing membrane. A project is defined by more than the membrane name: insulation, cover board where specified, attachment, seams, perimeter details, flashing and penetrations all belong in the discussion.
The building, existing assembly, applicable approvals and manufacturer requirements guide the proposed design. A specification should identify the actual materials and installation approach rather than treating every TPO roof as equivalent.

TPO roof repair
A repair assessment should consider the condition of the affected membrane and nearby details, the leak history and whether the proposed repair is compatible with the existing system. Some concerns need additional investigation to establish concealed moisture or other conditions.
We perform the contracted roofing repair scope and explain its defined area and limitations. A localized membrane repair is not a renewal of the whole roof. Roof repair and leak assessment.
TPO roof replacement
Replacement planning should address removal or other permitted assembly options, roof-deck condition, insulation, attachment and detail work. Discuss existing moisture concerns and how concealed conditions will be documented and handled.
Roof-mounted equipment and access for future service also need consideration. On occupied buildings, define staging, deliveries, operational restrictions and the project contact before installation begins. Commercial roofing.

Questions for a TPO proposal
- Which membrane, insulation and other components are specified?
- How will the assembly be attached and detailed?
- What removal and concealed-condition assumptions are included?
- How are penetrations, perimeter details and drainage interfaces addressed?
- Which equipment and access responsibilities belong to others?
- Which written warranty is included, and what must occur for issuance?
TPO roofing questions
Is TPO appropriate for every flat roof?
No. Suitability depends on the property, existing assembly, proposed design and project requirements. Review the actual roof before choosing a system.
Does a white membrane guarantee lower energy bills?
No. Roof characteristics are only part of building energy performance. Do not treat a membrane color as a guaranteed utility saving.
